Caring For The Care Giver Seminar

“How to prevent burn out and compassion fatigue”

In the Care Giving field stress, burn out and emotional exhaustion are ongoing problems. It is possible to do our work and take care of ourselves in such away that we are actually fed by the process. We can be energized from our work and life rather than drained, emotionally exhausted and burned out.

The goal of this training is to help you become aware of the challenges you face as well as giving you the tools to not only sustain yourself but actually thrive. In “The Caring for the Care Giver Seminar” we will explore simple ways to keep you from burn out and exhaustion. We will also help you create a plan, a network of support and resources in your community.

Some of the topics we will cover in the seminar include:

*Understanding the potential hazards of your field

*Preventing burn-out, second hand trauma, and emotional exhaustion

*Using simple techniques to transform stress

*Creating tools for better time management

*Finding resiliency in challenging circumstances

*Balancing personal life with work

*Learning to let go when you can’t help the people you are working with

*Dealing with feelings of rejection and negative core beliefs

*Clearing emotional responses as they come up

*Giving to yourself in a way that brings transformation and rejuvenation in you.
