Is there required work before the couples retreat intensive?
Yes, a very important part of the couples retreat intensive is the
pre-couples retreat course work. In reality your couples
retreat intensive will start the day you sign up.
How long does it take to complete the required course work?It will usually take most people 6-8 weeks to complete the pre-couple’s
retreat course work.
How to get the most out of the couples retreat…
The couples retreat and course work is a significant amount of time
and money. We would recommend approaching the retreat as an investment
in your self, partner, and relationship. Most of the time couples
that are coming to these retreats have been having difficulties for
a while now. If the relationship were a train, it’s kind of
like the train has gotten off the tracks and has been headed down
into a path of quick sand and destruction for some time. It will take
some effort on both of your parts to get the train back on the tracks
and headed in a fulfilling direction of re-connection, love, and mutual
contribution. We would highly recommend for the next 6-8 weeks making
your relationship the top priority in your life.
Is the couples retreat for us?
Yes, if you and your partner are both committed to putting a lot
of time and energy for the next 6-8 weeks working on your relationship.
What is the post- retreat plan?
Towards the end of the retreat we will create an after care plan
together, which will include recommendations for your practical, psychological,
and spiritual growth as individuals and as a couple.
Can we come to the retreat if we aren’t married?
Absolutely, about half of the couples that come to the retreats are
not married.
Do all of the couples that come to the retreats stay together?
No. The majority of the couples that have come to these retreats
have stayed together. Although, this is not the goal of the retreats.
The goal is to facilitate healing and transformation of past hurts,
anger, and unresolved issues that stand in the way of the love that
partners feel for each other. Our philosophy is that each individual
and couple needs to make their own decision on whether to stay together
or not. And we feel that it is essential to first work through the
layers of hurt and anger that are separating partners from the love
they feel for each other. Once they are able to get back to a place
of love with each other, then we find that they will naturally make
the decision to stay together or part as friends who love each other.
Note: Unfortunately, many times couples
make the decision to stay together or not from a place of hurt, fear
and anger. We strongly recommend first working through your issues
so you can make the decision to stay together or not from a place
of love, wisdom and clarity.
Special Note: If you have children and
don’t feel you can stay together, please get help working out
your past issues so that you can remain loving friends who are able
to work as a team in raising your children.
Is this a religious or spiritual retreat?

There are infinite paths to God, oneness, self-realization and love.
We welcome people of all faiths, religions, and unique spiritual paths.
We honor each individual’s personal right to choose the spiritual
approach or non-spiritual approach that works best for him or her.
If you have found God through your religion we think that is beautiful.
If you have found God or oneness from your own unique path we think
that is beautiful. If you are a Buddhist and found inner peace, stillness,
and oneness we think that is beautiful. We have found that regardless
of the faith or path many people have reported experiencing a deeper
understanding of their faith or path after the retreat.
The retreat is spiritual in that it provides the opportunity for
healing both as an individual and as a couple. The healing that takes
place allows individuals and couples to connect more deeply to themselves,
God, inner peace and love.
How do we register for a couples retreat?
When is the next available couples retreat opening?
Usually, 8-12 weeks from now.
When is payment due?
An initial payment of $1700 is required to reserve a retreat date.
The remainder is due at the beginning of the couples retreat. In some
cases payment plans will be made available.
What types of payment do you accept?
Check or Credit Card.
Are there any additional expenses?
Yes, cost of B&B or Hotel/Motel, Meals (snacks will be provided
at the retreat).
